{"id":46,"date":"2010-02-24T13:34:15","date_gmt":"2010-02-24T13:34:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/huntingtonhighlands.org\/members\/?p=46"},"modified":"2010-03-18T20:44:46","modified_gmt":"2010-03-18T20:44:46","slug":"2010-annual-community-meeting-minutes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/huntingtonhighlands.org\/members\/2010-annual-community-meeting-minutes\/","title":{"rendered":"2010 Annual Community Meeting Minutes"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Huntington Highlands Community Organization<br \/>\nMeeting Minutes Jan. 28, 2010<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Self introductions \u2013 22 people attended, representing 16 HHCO residences<\/li>\n<li>Elections of officers\n<ul>\n<li>Asked if people would like to co-serve<\/li>\n<li>Dan Albrecht moved to re-elect the current officers, who had all agreed to serve again.<\/li>\n<li>Melissa Williams seconded<\/li>\n<li>All approved<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Budget report\n<ul>\n<li>Treasurer was absent from meeting but had prepared the budget report.<\/li>\n<li>Jeannie Marcil read the budget report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Entrance sign\n<ul>\n<li>Work to start on getting bids and design;<\/li>\n<li>Design to be traditional<\/li>\n<li>Time line \u2013 start planning and bidding<\/li>\n<li>Linda Becher suggests cleaning fence now. Linda will lead effort to work with Randy (entrance maintenance person) to see if cleaning is feasible and what it would cost.<\/li>\n<li>Carol Straughan suggested she and Susan Sodorff assist Linda in meeting\/working with Randy.<\/li>\n<li>David Blatner more interested in secondary entrances and the monuments proposed for those.<\/li>\n<li>Pam Logsdon commented on how the main entrance really defines the neighborhood.<\/li>\n<li>Someone needs to check with the county to see what will be allowed as far as new monuments.<\/li>\n<li>When entrance sign designs are available, David Blatner will put them on the web page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Mail box Shed update\n<ul>\n<li>All were repaired, primed, painted and new asphalt roofing installed.\u00a0 Job well done.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Security\n<ul>\n<li>Ask if you can help<\/li>\n<li>Take a picture with your cell phone.<\/li>\n<li>Look out for your neighbors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Social events\n<ul>\n<li>Halloween thank you to Larry and Linda Becher<\/li>\n<li>Ladies Holiday Gift Exchange thank you to Trisha Albrecht<\/li>\n<li>Laura Ullman has volunteered to host the Gift Exchange next year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Garage Sale\n<ul>\n<li>Jeannie Marcil offered to spearhead organizing an HHCO sponsored garage sale this May.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Web site presentation by David Blatner\n<ul>\n<li>Notification once a month would be sufficient<\/li>\n<li>Would like to add a \u2018Want Ads\u2019 type feature<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Other Business<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Meeting was adjourned.<\/p>\n<p>In attendance:<\/p>\n<p>Matt Hart, Bryan Bouwman, Jeanne Marcil, Mike Summitt, Tu Tran, Tammy and Terry Lally, Trisha and Dan Albrecht,\u00a0 Melissa and Bill Williams, Susan P.
